Life: The Only Frontier

I miss who I was. I miss the girl who had something to be proud of. I miss the girl who was genuinely happy in her own skin, innocent and free, and thought for herself. I miss the girl who would look in the mirror and not see every flaw. I miss the girl who didn't let the negative words of others bother her. I’ve transformed myself to make everyone else like me. But now I don’t like me. I miss who I was. MMT

Optimistic: Now is the perfect time to find that girl/guy again. I think they've been waiting for you.

"How do you keep this much in without tipping? Without exploding? You're like a red giant star. You're so big, but we see you as so little from far away. You have so much to battle with that you're losing the will to battle."

A battle is better fought with allies.
Find some.
You are worth fighting for!

It's not always wise to miss who you were. The person who could look in the mirror and not see flaws was likely too young to understand any of how the world works. Granted you may see a lot wrong with how things around you may be, but you wouldn't know many of the joys and pleasures that can be had in life as well. Flaws can also drive you to be better, give you something to improve on. If you don't like who you are, that is a problem with the now. You are all that you have done; it is impossible to go back, but you can change the way you act and how you respond to other people. It doesn't have to be a battle, it's actually quite easy to do.

No matter who you are, those that truly love you will remain at your side.

In the mirror, you are always waiting for you. Wave at your soul, accept how great you truly are, and walk away.

    That's life.
